We are thinking about trying to get a tri-state team dual camp together up here at Morningside.

We really don't have many details, just an idea, but what we want to do is get 2-4 teams from Nebraska, 2-4 teams from Iowa, and 2-4 teams from South Dakota to compete.

Preferably teams that don't see each other, and teams don't have to be from one school.

If any coaches are interested in something like this; email me at jkp003@morningside.edu

The result is not how a man should be measured, the means at which he gets there is what matters.

Are they still running the Battle Ready Training Camp in Kimball? Coach Neumann was putting that on a few years ago when our kid went...fairly intensive and I believe he got alot out of it.
I've heard alot of great things about the Nebraska Outdoor Challenge Camp in Valentine.

Grand Island will again be hosting a team camp Thursday, June 25-Saturday, June 27. Tolly Thompson (NCAA I Champion and World Bronze medalist) will be here to provide technique. The cost is $600 per team of up to 15 wrestlers and $40 per individual beyond 15. Great camp last year this will be year two. We hope to grow the camp as our facilities will easily accommodate a lot of teams. We will have as many duals as there are teams present. Last year each team got 8 duals - then we had an individual tournament to wrap it up. Individuals do not be afraid to attend we will find a team for you to join and get matches in.

Please contact
Grand Island Head Coach Mike Schadwinkel at 308-380-6088 or by email mschadwi@gips.org and I will send you a form.

We will also have a youth camp with Tolly the same days 3 sessions, 1 each day for $30 per incoming 3rd-8th graders.
