Brett...you never answered the question, who wins between you and Rob?

To TK, the only reason we've decided to go to 12 man brackets at our tourney is so we don't have a situation like we had either last year or the year before, I can't remember. We had a bracket with all but 1 kid seedable. A very good wrestler (who by the way wasn't from our school) got stuck in the bunny vs. another very good wrestler. Both probably should have medaled but because of bunnies, couldn't. So to eliminate that, I decided to go to 12 man to benefit the VARSITY wrestlers. This doesn't affect the kid from Sutton, the NSAA rule affects him AND Castillo. And by the way, 9 out of the 12 teams coming are either full, or a couple short. 125 for example is a full 12 man bracket, 130-10, 119-9, and others are similar except 103,215, and Heavy.

Coach Aschoff, Wow, NSAA really needs to get their story straight. They tell one team their kid can wrestle but the other one not? BUT, they said the only reason was because he has to sit out because of the late transfer.

We did let Marsh wrestle the varsity tournament at Harvard, but mainly because Sutton didn't have anyone else at 130. Had they put another kid in at 130, Marsh would have had to wrestle in the exhibition bracket we drew up. He didn't score for their varsity team, but he was put into the bracket (ended up second).

Brett, there are two VanMatre kids. Isaac I am sure you are familiar with and Gilbert is a freshman. He will be a pretty good wrestler. He is pretty physically mature for his age, but needs some more mat time against good competition to improve technically. Last year in middle school you could tell he was just muscling over weaker competition.

TK, thanks for the info. Rob talked to Dru last night, he said Dru is wrestling this weekend. Good to see he's healed up. He said he's coming to Wood River on Friday, if he feels like it tell him he can drag Rob out on the mat and give him a good beating, one like we always get from the Kastlers. See ya Friday.

Sorry, not cleared by trainers to wrestle Saturday. In fact I'm guessing UNK will not have any 125's on the mat Saturday Confused

Did Sean Trampe wrestled at Broken Bow or was he hurt or sick? Noticed he didn't place, who beat him?
