Whitey I have made me decision and just decided to not come out for wreslting this year. Many factors weighed in to this decision and part of it is that I am moving to Alaska in March (Around 7th or 8th). I also factored in that Wrestling Season is already underway. So, I am going to join My High Schools Wrestling team when I get to Alaska.

how is the wrestling in alaska

It is not too late for wrestling. You should wrestle this year, even if you can not make the varsity team, you should be on a team! Waiting until you get to Alaska is an excuse! The season ends in February here...in time to move to the land of Eskimos!

The biggest move in Alaska is the bear hug .

All jokes aside, my sister played basketball for UAA in Anchorage - yeah a Nebraska Kid playing for UAA - So we subscribed to their paper for a few years. Most of the schools have wrestling and it is a very popular sport in Alaska. It is not as competitive as Nebraska, but most of the schools have a program.

Wrasslin, I would go out for Wrestling, but "m saying it would be too much trouble for me to pay for yself to get a physical and then a white card, so I wouldn't be wrestling until possibly after winter break in Janurary, so there's really no point in me coming out, spending a few bucks to come to a few practices, know what I mean, besides it will prolly be easier if I just got all this in Alaska. But from I've read on-line, the High School I will be going to has 1 of the better ones in the State, it is the Equivalent of Creighton Prep in Omaha, except to Alaska.

Dont feel picked on stat boy, but the equivalent of creighton prep in Alaska will not want an unconditioned wrestler at the end of their season. You need to show up ready to compete or else you will just be a jv guy or waterboy.

I guess that takes Central out of the hunt

You know Stat boy all you do is make excuses about how I can't wrestle for this reason or this reason.....and all you did this summer and fall was talk about how you were going to do all you could to get on varisty, and you wonder why people would give you a hard time??????hmmmmm it is a mystery ins't it....
