This Jan. 9th and 10th will be the 40th year of the Clarks/High Plains Inv. Coach Manstedt(which has been here all 40)wanted to know how many State Champions wrestled at the Inv. I'm asking for some help. I know Clarks/High Plains has had 30 State Champions, I need help with other teams that have attend in the last 40 years.

Paul Ulmer from Sutton was State Champ at 185 in 1987 and wrestled at the Clarks Tournament.

Bronco, are you sure that Terry Fisher, Albion, didn't wrestle at this tournament? I am getting old, but I thought that was the 1st time that I had seen him wrestle, but I could and have been mistaken before.

in all seriousness, if you give me the list of teams that have competed each year for the last 40 years, i will do the rest.

Our only problem would be that if a kid did not wrestle at the tournament for whatever reason but then went on to win state that year.

I know it would take a lot of work, but the NSAA website has every state champion listed by school and year. If you knew the teams that attended each year, you could probably put all that info together fairly quickly, I would think.

Shane, Could you post the wrestler list once you have it compiled? Do you have a list of the teams that attended by year?

I will try. Mabey if the wife starts talking to me,she can help me type everything in. As it is right know,I will have to start kissing her @$#,so don't hold your breath.
