That avatar is pretty cool. See and those people that complained about the new board...

I assumed they were talking about Bob.

Wasn't there a Bill Colgate that wrestled at Chadron in the early 80's.

PS Never draw to an inside straight. And NEVER split tens.

...but as to your PS about splitting 10's, here's a dumb-luck blackjack story.

I was playing at one of the casinos in Counciltucky a while back when I had a pair of 4's. On a whim, I split them. There was a guy at the other side of the table who wondered - quite loudly - what in the world I was doing.

The first 4 drew a 7 and a face card for 21. The second? A 2, 6 and 9 for another 21, drawing cheers from all at the table - except that guy at the other end. I'm sure he's still steamed about that.

I haven't split a number card since. I stick to aces and faces.

Remember James Garner in Maverick-had a buddy who won 50K off the same hand in Vegas.

Here's a few easy rules - Always split Aces and
eights, never split fives and tens, split 9's except against a dealer's 7 (the risk to get two 19's when you have an 18 against 17 isn't good).
Split twos, threes and fours against a dealer's
2-6, split 7's only against a dealer's 2-7 and never split 6's. Good luck!

Get poker playing scenes, love when he reveals Jodie Fosters "tell".

Almost as good as when Matt Damon catches John Malcovich in his trap in Rounders.
