If I'm not mistaken, I believe these are the district assignments for Class A, assuming the NSAA is using the same technique for determining the districts (remove Marian, add Scotus' enrollment to Columbus). Is that correct?

A-1
Omaha Central
Omaha Burke
Omaha North
Lincoln North Star
Omaha Northwest
Lincoln East
Columbus
Elkhorn

A-2
Millard North
Grand Island
Lincoln Southwest
Lincoln Southeast
Bellevue East
Papillion La Vista
Fremont
South Sioux City

A-3
Omaha Creighton Prep
Millard South
Omaha South
Lincoln High
Papillion La Vista South
Lincoln Northeast
Norfolk
Ralston

A-4
Millard West
Omaha Westside
Omaha Bryan
Bellevue West
Omaha Benson
Kearney
North Platte
Lincoln Pius X

where are you finding this information? A-1 looks pretty tough. North is always talented with Lincoln East, Kearney, and Elkhorn being traditional powers.

I think you have Columbus and Kearney reversed. Kearney has 1056 and the Columbus + Scotus coop has a total of 1053.

So...what is the right answer on the Kearney and Columbus deal? Are they switched around?

With the classifications out today and if they follow the "serpentine" method, I think the above is correct except South Sioux and Elkhorn will be reversed.

The "official" assignments should be out soon.

9. 1482 A Omaha North 1
13. 1283 A Lincoln North Star 1

21. 1112 A Lincoln East 1
25. 1053 A Columbus (Columbus Scotus) 1
29. 935 A South Sioux City (Homer) 1

2. 1857 A Millard North 2
6. 1559 A Grand Island 2
10. 1391 A Lincoln Southwest 2
14. 1250 A Lincoln Southeast 2
18. 1182 A Bellevue East 2
22. 1082 A Papillion-La Vista 2
26. 1026 A Fremont 2
30. 906 A Elkhorn 2

3. 1636 A Omaha Creighton Prep 3
7. 1555 A Millard South 3
11. 1386 A Omaha South 3
15. 1234 A Lincoln High 3
19. 1167 A Papillion-La Vista South 3
23. 1074 A Lincoln Northeast 3
27. 955 A Norfolk 3
31. 804 A Ralston 3

4. 1595 A Millard West 4
8. 1491 A Omaha Westside 4
12. 1352 A Omaha Bryan 4
16. 1215 A Bellevue West 4

All this talk about A-3, A-1 imo looks like the toughest by far!

As usual, it looks like deserving kids will be staying home from the Qwest this year. Apparently it's impossible to balance those districts and weight classes so everyone gets an even chance. Too bad that that "luck of the draw," has to play into the results.

There haven't been any "ratings" released to my knowledge. If you are a Huskermat.com Insider, a list of "Top Wrestlers By Weight" can be seen by clicking here.

I assume that is what ShampooIsBetter was referencing. But again, that information is reserved for Huskermat.com Insiders!
