Who do you think will win each weight and who will be the matches to watch? Teams that are there in order of finish last year: Cozad Aurora Gretna Hastings Adams Central Sidney Lexington Hastings St. Cecilia Minden Ogallala McCook Medicine Valley So many of our Dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then when we Summon the Will they seem inevitable!-- Christopher Reeves BrEtT |

World Champion![]() Location: Wayne, America Registered: October 20, 2002 Posts: 5714 | Gretna will have some tough hombres from 160 on up...Hartnett (160), Janovich (171), Michael Pajeda (189, wrestled behind Krajicek and Janovich last year on JV), Gregory (215) and Porth (275). People might want to watch out for Gretna's two big guys...they've looked really solid early on. If Gretna can get the lineup from 125-152 figured out, they should be pretty salty. | Rookie Registered: December 23, 2003 Posts: 50 | Looks like some interesting possible matchups at the heavier wts between Cozad and Gretna. Wrestle offs don't start till tomorrow, but my preliminary guess at Cozad's line up would be Gill 152, Love 160, Lemmer/Levell 171, Libal 189, Zook 215, and Gill/Oyler at 275. May be some others at those wts that will compete for a starting spot. Cozad's strength will be in the heavier wt classes this year. |

| Novice Registered: November 27, 2005 Posts: 221 | what class is Hastings St. Cecilia? |
World Champion![]() Location: Wayne, America Registered: October 20, 2002 Posts: 5714 | I'd have to say it's Aurora and Gretna. I'm not sure how the lineup will be in the middle there, but Gretna should score well on the top side. Aurora might have a little more scoring depth, so it should be interesting. Can't rule out the host team, though...they always do well on the home mats, so they should be in the hunt as well. BTW...any Adams Central reps know if Coach Lonowski will be there Saturday? | Rookie Registered: December 23, 2003 Posts: 50 | Sorry nwg, you're right, Sturgeon will be a major player in Cozad's success this year. I didn't include him because I was referencing the heavier wt classes and thought he was wrestling 145 this weekend. Good Luck Tyler and the rest of the Haymakers!!!! |
