Well, our whole team will be wrestling and from what I've been told, Central City will be bringing some guys over so could see some good matches there. Hope to see some other teams bring guys too. Probably some rematches from Aurora where WR and CC wrestled each other a few times. I'm hoping for a good turn out too, this will be our first time for having high school division.

I wish it was not the same night as the Grand Island tourney!

Yeah, so do I. When we set our date quite a while ago, there were only two other tourneys that day and they were quite a ways away. But, It's impossible for everyone to schedule around each other.

Holdrege Harvesters Wrestling Club will be there. I am not sure how many I will bring but we should have a few there.

Awesome! I just posted an invite on the Central City thread! Also, keep the high school entries coming! So far we have some tough kids coming! A few from Battle Creek (Nic Young called this morning), Raymond Central (Studebaker and another kid), of course Wood River, I think Central City is bringing some, and I talked to McCooks coach this morning and he thought they'd bring some. Looking forward to some good matches!

Is Ord bringing any? I bet they would maybe send a couple?

I haven't got any entries from Ord, but that doesn't mean they didn't send them to our club director. You might ask somebody if you know who to contact just to make sure though!

I will make a call to see if they will send some kids that way.

Only 15 high school kids as of last night, pretty disappointing. Hopefully more will come today.

With Track starting and this being the first year offering the high school division its not too surprising. It can only get better in years to come.

Yep, I agree. We've had a few more enter today. I think I have 14 or so of my own wrestling and I've prolly had another 6-8 call today plus whatever the club director got today so it may not be too bad. Like you said, track has something to do with it plus it's our first year. Doesn't help much that our tourney and GI's ended up the same night either. I know I'd have liked to send our kids over there also. Oh well, we'll wrestle what we have!

Here's a good bracket for ya! Had a decent turn out but this bracket really should be fun to watch.
Ryan Alexander- Adams Central Michael Rodgers-Kearney Catholic Jacob Brown- Central City Garret Lambrecht- Wood River Lambrecht is a good 10 lbs. lighter but we moved him up to make a good bracket. |

Well, the tourney went off well. Had a little over 250 kids. 35 or so high school. There were a few great matches. You had Lambrecht, Rodgers, Brown, and Alexander going at it. Also had Dibbern from Amherst and McTavish from Wood River bang heads. Pretty decent for off season stuff.

Eagle1. You ran a great tournament. Thanks for juggling JH brackets so teammates didn't have to wrestle each other so much. Hope to see you in Amherst in couple of weeks.

No problem! Glad we could make things work for everyone involved! Thanks for the compliment, I always worry that things won't run smoothly enough. I hope to make to yours but I don't know if I can get there in time for check in. We don't get out of school until 335 and I'm not sure I can get there with both my boys in time! Maybe we can work something out.
