Josh Paisley from Aurora picked up his 100th career win today at Aurora's Team Duals. Not the way he would have liked though, as the other wrestler had to forfeit due to a shoulder injury.

Jack Smith from Sargent picked up his 100th career win last weekend at Sandhills, he is only the 3rd wrestler from Sargent to accomplish this feat with Donny Seifried class of 89 winning 113, and Alan Nitchie class of 88 winning 106. Brad Zurek should also pick up his 100th this year as he sits with 86 wins.

Welch's win's today dont actually count since he wrestled in as a JV wrestler today. Even though he is varisty it was a JV tourment and does not count as actuall record.

Guest why don't you grow some kohones and post who you are. Welch would have handled himself just fine in the varstity division, however your Class A cronies are scared sh*tless of wrestling Class D wrestlers. His record counts!!!!

I think the 100th win for the Med Valley kid would count because other Varsity teams were in that tournament. Which makes it count as Varsity records against all that competed in that meet.
So, if there is a kid ineigable for varsity competion he wouldn't have been able to wrestle in that meet either. Because other varsity teams were competing.

I do believe that Clarke #130 reached his 100th win at the Rushville Invite on 11-21. No fanfare...just fact.

I think 100 wins is a tremendous accomplishment, however in Iowa it's considered very impressive but more common. 150 seems to be the cutoff for the elite. How the heck do they get so many matches in in a year and career???

If you look at it the length of the season is only one week longer. The distinguishing factor comes in the number of duals during the course of a week. If you have numerous sixteen man bracket tournaments and one or two duals per week then you can rack up wins much quicker. Question: Is funding that much higher in Iowa or why else don't more schools have one or two duals each week?

We have point limitations, we have 30 for a year. Each competition cost so many points....

Iowa, if I believe doest have this same procedure

I believe Clarke could set an all class record for wins in a season... He currently stands at around 26 (+/-) and has possibly 20 or so left.

What is the all class record for W in a season?
