I just wanted to chime in on something I've noticed here in the forum. In the past the Nebraska-Maine Exchange has been perceived as a "vacation" with alittle wrestling on the side. Although they will enjoy rafting, hiking, fishing etc...it was anything but a vacation last night. Maine brought a talented group of kids & they wrestled their tails off! Good luck the rest of the week (heard they'd be at the AAU Championship 1 day as well) & enjoy yourselves!
A few non-graduated Nebraska wrestlers stood out last night, I'm sure I missed another 1 or 2 but I got busy visiting with starwrestler! ha-ha Crocker (the kid just wears you down), Neujahr (nice job Brandon), Ripley (alittle unorthodox but gets it done), Coffey (wrestling up 10 lbs) & Klinginsmith (best in the state at whatever weight he gets down to). |

I had the privilege of coaching some of those kids last night and you're right Bronco Dad. It did not matter that it was a "Friendship Series", when they stepped on the mat both were warriors. Then they shook hands and ate pizza together after the dual!

had a little talk last night, most likely 160 unless weight comes off easy, but weighed 172 last night, so most likely 160. I'll post in nov. Later

What's the skinny on where/when they wrestle in Lincoln? Locations and times?

Complete results of all 4 stops on the Maine blog site here. Nebraska did not win another dual after the first one.
A bunch of pictures that Coach Thompson took and posted on flickr here. There is also a link to the flickr site on several of the blog entries. ----------------- "A PEOPLE THAT VALUES ITS PRIVILEGES OVER ITS PRINCIPLES, SOON LOSES BOTH" EISENHOWER |
