I heard today at work from a wrestlers parent that the head coach got fired today. I am not sure what he did or if this is true.

Not good news from a school that is in trouble already. They are 2 million dollars in debt.

yes its true. I wrestle for Conestoga. He was not fired technically, just "forced to resign". Particulars need not be discussed, but the whole ordeal is fairly unfair for our coach. He did not deserve this.

What happened? If he was forced out unfairly, let everyone know what the reason was. Not knowing what happened will only lead people to speculate worse than what really happened. I thought that the coach was getting the program going in the right direction.

OSU, what did you hear was the reason?

Okay, I actually know the whole story, because I just talked to the Conestoga coach who was forced to resign. I am not going into details about the situation because there is no need to on this board. If you really want to know them, look up the old coaches name and call him. The new coach will also be a good one for the program. He is a former wrestler/state champion for the team. He will do just fine.

And yes I was associated with the team for some years, so I do know what I am talking about.

Am I to assume that the Mighty Marcus Colgrove is now at the reigns? If so, then the program is in good hands. Marcus is great with kids. If not, then please tell us. Give it up OSU Cowboys, and maybe I'll let you win at Texas Hold'em next time!

I am not 100% sure! I don’t want to start rumors

I am thinking Troy Ruffner might of took over. I know he is helping out.

I cant remember the last time you beat me. You are the first one to go out most of the time.

OSUCowboys, your memory is about as tall as NWI's stature. I seem to remember taking half of your family out in one tournament.

Sorry Diminutive Super Squirrel, had to take the cheap shot!

Yes, Troy Ruffner is our new coach, along with the old assistant coach who is the qualified teacher that our school rules require for a coaching staff. Troy ran the practice thursday morning, as well as the friday practice. He is very technical and runs a good practice. He will do a great job with this team; its just a shame that the old coach had to go like he did. So OU Sooners, hows North Platte treatin you

Well Farmer when can I get in on this hold'em. Also good for Troy getting the job. Hopefully they can get healthy and make an impact season. Conestoga has a wealth of talent if they can stay healthy and on task. Good luck guy.

North Platte is treating me good. Your right Troy will be good. Are you wrestling this weekend? I heard you didn't wrestle at BT because you are banged up. How are you feeling?
