What a great facility and tournament you put on. There's a tremendous amount of effort and volunteerism involved and by the way, a great crowd too. An aside, Amanda S. and group put in a huge number of hours and took on a lot of extra duty. Next time we'll negotiate to keep three mats out for first round Sat. a.m., OK. Hats off also to Morrill coach of the year in C-4, and his team that seemed to really rise to the occasion match after match. Imperial's final's round was very impressive also. I guess my biggest problem turned out to be cell phone reception inside the bldg, did you call Ross? Dev had a call that he thought may have been you, not sure.

We are proud of our facility and I thought the tournament ran smoothly. You have a good point about using three mats on Saturday, though I did like being able to really watch those wrestle back rounds, especially the heartbreak round. Of course, I only had a 5 minute (if that) trip to get home. Now, how many days til we go to Lincoln?

Can someone tell me why there were only 2 mats. It just seemed to make the day drag on forever. Was it something that was mandated by NSAA or was it Imperials decision? Some of the teams from the eastern part didn't get home till after midnight and if I'm correct, a couple had to stay overnight because it was just to far. I will agree that the school had great facilities and the staff did a great job too, but next time keep 3 mats down until the finals. It would have also been nice to have it in a town with more than one motel and not have to drive 45 miles to stay in one.

does anyone know where c-4 districts will be next year? I would say Morrill or Mitchell. They have great facilities, (not like Imperial, but sufficient none the less) And Morrill has 1 hotel and plenty more lodging not 15 miles away in Scotssbluff. Both of them sound good to me

why can't the west teams come back east for once. We've been to imperial, gordan and kimball. let them come east. The towns back east could easily offer what some of the west towns could. Namely, enough motels, restaurants and other entertainment than some of those smaller towns out west. I use to live out west so I'm not trying to put u guys down, its just let us back east not drive so far just once.

thanks alot man, our whole team did amazingly great. i didnt expect that out of us. it all started with our 90 lb. 112 guy sticking the Chase County guy with 1 second left when hes down 12-1. that sparked the fire and every morrill match after that just added some fuel. Ord also did awesome. You guys have a solid team up and down. congratulations on the championship and best of luck at state.
