First round at 197
#2 ranked Keeno Griffin in finals at 197 last year

vs.

#5 ranked Kyle Sand in finals at 184 last year

Having two prior finalists meet in the first round does not happen very often...would love to know how often...but way too lazy to look this info up.

This would be a good one to watch right off the bat.

Sands had never lost a match at Plachy hall at Adams State, Alomosa Co. He lost 2 last saturday at the regionals there.
As of the Feb. 20 rankings there where 15 ranked wrestlers that didn't make the field.

Okay once again it is time for DII fantasy and here are the rules:

-only 2 wrestlers from a team
-only 3 wrestlers ranked 1-3 in the nation

Pin 2 pts
T. Fall 1.5 pts
Major 1 pt

Championship bracket 2 pts advancement
Consolation bracket 1 pt advancement

1st 20 points
2nd 16 points
3rd 12 points
4th 9 points
5th 7 points
6th 5 points
7th 3 points
8th 1 point

15 pt bonus for a wrestler that is unranked to AA

Your wildcard doesn't count against ur 2/team

No advancement points for 3-8 place, but you do get it for advancing to the finals

Once again keep your own scores to let me know my mess ups (there will be some)

Lineups need to be in the same as last year, 1000 pst. Should be a blast

We will use the latest coaches rankings from the 3rd of March

New more accurate rankings came out today. They eliminate anyone that is not qualified for Nationals and might be better to use.
