Continuing along these lines: Your wrestling status and knowledge is tested if you think that a "chicken wing" comes from KFC, a "Russian tie" is something Putin would wear, a "headlock" is a padlocked bathroom, a "front-headlock" is the same only closer to the front door, " the guillotine" chops off heads, "the Turk" is someone who lives near Iraq, "full Nelson" is an illegal immigrant from Sweden (and not hungry),a "cross face" is an angry look, "salto" is salt in Hungarian, "inside trip" is just traveling around town, not outside of town, "figure-4 is someone making $1000 or more, "cross-body" is body language depicting a bad mood, "bar-arm" is an appendage of a bear from Alabama, "Twister" is self explanitory in the spring in the midwest (does tornado ring a bell), "Peterson roll" is a delicious breakfast treat from a bakery, "Granby roll" is a bigger roll and can be eaten anytime, and finally the real tester for the would-be wrestler is a "sitout", which is what we do when we don't want to be embarrassed by participating in a sport for which we are not prepared!

-You know you're a wrestler when you are the only athlete in school that actually has to do his school work to be eligible.
-You know you're a wrestler when you can walk around school with headgear on and no one laughs at you.
-Last one, You know you're a wrestler when the security guards at school ask what you do in the off-season because they need some help when kids get in fights at school.

You know you are a wrestler when no matter what age you are, you know who Dan Gable is and you admire him for what he has done for wrestling. You don't go for foolish "hollywood antics" like Tom Cruise jumping up on Oprah's sofa, but instead go for the real drama of a National or State Champion jumping into the coach's arms after becoming the "Champ"!!!
