How bad did Jay beat the Fuentes kid in the finals out in CO? Fuentes was 2nd in the Div 5 last year at Tulsa so he must have been pretty good.

Jay had Fuentes in the second round. He decisioned him 5-4. Jay scored two takedowns and an escape. Fuentes scored a takedown, an escape, and a stalling point. He then defeated Curtis Salazar in the finals 5-0. Both matches were very close.

Was the kid who beat Jeremy McCoy in freestyle up in Fargo this past summer 6-2. Made it to the final 6 of his 112 pool A up in Fargo which is pretty darn good. Beat Kalen Lenz of Iowa who is pretty highly touted as well.

Salazar was beaten this summer at the UNL Team Camp by some Nebraska kid, but not sure who it was? Anyone know? I know Denson beat Salazar last year, or I think he did? It was on the forum last year. Do you know grapplinman? Doesn't surprise me about McCoy. He was pretty sucked up trying to make weight. He did't care about wrestling by the time he made weight. He even said so.

Aaron beat Salazar last year at the Bad Boyz tournament in Colorado. We didn't wrestle him this summer at Cadets. He did do well in his pool, but his side of the bracket was much easier than our side of the bracket. I know that Bryson Gutches has beaten Salazar many times before, and was on our side of the bracket and Gutches didn't make it anywhere near the medal round at Cadets. I can tell you that McCoy is a really talented kid, but he has a lot of roadblocks to his success. He cut a ton of weight to make the weigh in at 112, and could't make it again or even come close in freestyle
