What a night!
We had 133 kids and got through in about 2hours and 40 minutes. Which wouldn't have been bad if we hadn't started 40 minutes late. Next week will be better!

33 teams, team scores are up on the site.

Kudos to Coach Gocke and his help. Last night went very well--started on time and we were all done by 9:00. There were some great matches, and overall it's just run very well. Thanks to all of the folks who are helping out!

Scores are up again on the site. If you are having trouble accessing the handouts section let me know.

There are some tips on the site about getting first round matches, and some things to do if:
you are wrestling someone from your school,
you don't have a match,
you only got one match, etc....

Don't hesitate to ask me at the league to check up on a match. We make mistakes.

I have seen a few guys each week only have 1 match. Now this might be by design, because injury or illness, but if not, I NEED to know, so I can fix it.
Also, if you have to wrestle someone from your school...let me know, we can probably change it!

Any chance of getting some comments/results of some the elite matchs? For whatever reason can't open the results! Thanks

The only results posted on the site are the team scores for the week. They are in the handout section and are in excel format.

I cannot comment on the elite matches, because I rarely see a match. Other coaches or spectators or wrestlers may be able to comment however.

I commented last week on the match based on a bout card I was recording results off of.

I just put up the weekly scores and a page for each team.
The team page is an individual breakdown of each wrestlers matches. They do not have final scores, but the type of result, loss, dec, tech, major or pin.

Let me know if you spot any errors.

I rearranged the team pages into groups so there are fewer to download, use the tabs at the bottom of the excel files to see them.

Also, this week June 30 we start at normal time 6:30.
However, the Next week July 7, we start at 5:30, because of the tournament and moving mats to other buildings afterward.

Coaches, I need to know who will be attending and who will not so that I can seed brackets and prepare bout cards so that the tourney goes smoothly.
Please email me a lineup or give me a call by Sunday July 6.

Team pages and scores have been updated.
Top 5 is essentially the same but add Palmer.

Again, coaches, let me know on Sunday about lineups. Email or call me! Thanks.

I will try to post pre-lim brackets during the day Monday. Those will probably change, but it will be a close apporximation.

Good Luck, the tourney is going to be important to team scoring.

Wow, we had a great race. A few shake ups in the team race. I thought the tourney might be important.

It took us a bit to get started, but once we had the brackets set, things went pretty well.

I have posted final scores and final 2008 brackets in the handouts section of the site.

Thanks to all who participated and helped make the league run smoothly. Especially Bob Arehart who helped run the tables a couple nights, even though I couldn't afford his $20/hour.
