Duals are on the 13th of March. We currently have about the same number of teams as last year. If you are interested and still want to get in you are more than welcome too. Just get in by Thursday because we will be bracketing both divisions this weekend. Also people who have submitted their enteries we will take changes till Friday no later. So bottom line get those rosters in. Go to the Huskerland web site for the roster form.
525 are you getting a team in this year? I hope so you always brought good team. I hope there are no ill fillings between you and me. |

Wow! We have had a great response with these. The older group is almost full and the younger group should have more teams than last year. We will bracket them this weekend and send them to all coaches in a e-mail.
Also coaches we have a free t-shirt for you this year. So make sure you stop by the head table and pick yours up. One t-shirt per team entered please. |

FYI there will be a one pound allowance for Huskerland Duals only. You MUST make Scratch weight for AAU state. If you weigh for duals that weight will be honored for AAU state but you must make the AAU state scratch weight. Hope to have pools posted tomorrow or Wed. We are still waiting on some changes.

We have finally got all the teams in with their rosters and state points. So we will seed them tonight and post them on the Hukserland forum board under Hukserland Duals.
There are a ton of teams this year. We have 18 teams in the older division so we will run 3 divisions(A,B,C) with six team pools, the winner of the pool is that divisions champ. There are 16 in the younger division so we will run what we have in the past(two pools of eight(A and B division) and then wrestle a four man bracket after pool play in completed. Don't forget there is a one pound allowance for the duals and you must weigh in with your singlet on. Everything should run smoothly and I am hoping to have everyone out of the gym by 7:30 so they can get some rest for AAU state the next day. Thanks for supporting this event this is the best turnout we have ever had. Cullison |

Couple of last minute reminders!
1. Weigh-ins for the older group start at 7 and end at 8. You get one pound and have to weigh in with your singlet on. 2. We will have a mat for extra matches. There will be a mat designated for that. Send your extras there, match em up and wrestle. 3. We have shirts for the coaches this year. One shirt per team entered. So get one representative from your club to get all your shirts. Example Scottsbluff has three teams so they will get three shirts. Once again we have a great turnout for this event. Thanks for your continued support. You as the wrestling community makes this happen. Cullison |
