Looks like the rocket scientist doing the seeds at the Clash did not give Skutt their due. They gave the powerhouse Utah team everything they wanted. Hats off to the NE teams.

The brainiac "national sports writers"; who knew that Skutt was 4-2 last year at the Clash ... and should have known that their team was better this year ... still seeded them to wrestle Wasatch in the second round.
Here was a quote regarding the seeding of Skutt:
"If you are saying they deserved to be seeded above Owatonna or Simley, that is clearly not the case."
Well, maybe you need to rethink that a little bit.
Skutt 43 - Simley 19.
Maybe you need to rethink that a lot.
Somebody's a little too high on Simley and a little too low on Skutt. That was a blowout in Skutt's favor.
More like "If you are saying Simley should be seeded above Skutt; that is clearly not the case."

Im all for skutt, but there is one thing you need to realize when you are trying to argue their case, they would have been stuck with one hard team no matter what, whether is was apple valley, glenbard north, wasatch or the team that won. I do think they should have placed higher, but that is no excuse. Skutt wrestled well and individuals like Nordstrom and Lutmer wrestled lights out.
