BT over valentine, aurora over falls city, plattsmouth over CC, gering over platteview, madison over gross, SKUTT OVER SCOTTSBLUFF(although carlson is heavily favored in my eyes he could be set up for quick elimination if he falters here as it would set up a showdown with a pretty hot nate high in losers bracket)Seward over Boone

1st cons FC over valentine, CC over platteview, cozad over auburn, scottsbluff over boone,

I doubt Aurora would be able to beat Scottsbluff if they wrestled.

Guest, I'm not sure I agree that Carlson is HEAVILY favored against Scottsbluff. Isn't Maldonado rated ahead of Carlson?

would be a huge matchup in losers bracket between Carlson and High if he does lose.

high is a freshman and is starting to turn the corner we'll see what he does at state. All i know is he has improved considerably since cozad dual. To wrestle fredenburg to 1 point isn't a slouch.

I'm not certain I counted correctly, but I think there are eight former state medalists in this bracket, making it one of the most difficult, if not THE most difficult bracket in the entire tournament.

The people who qualified that aren't former medalists are all above-average wrestlers. That intensifies the mix.

Best of luck to the contenders in this bracket. You did well by just getting to state! :>Wink

These are the remaining ones with lb guesses:
Bribieseca - sr should be #1 in whatever weight - 135
Carlson - sr was at 140 for Nebraska team - 135
Bashus - jr heard he's been hitting the weigths hard - 130-135
Butrick - sr 130
Banzhaf - sr 130 will help that Palomo and Maldonado will not be there anymore
High - soph 125-130
Osnes - soph 130-135
Parrish - soph 130
Seda - sr 125-130

Just guesses from this summer and from board comments
