Omaha NW is not at the Central City Invite this year. They are at the Lincoln Northstar Invite.

You're right, Omaha Northwest & Elkhorn both have opted out to attend Northstar Invite instead, it does make geographical sense. Unsure if Central City Invite has picked up any replacements, loss of Elkhorn has probably removed some good matchups from Stangl, Polland, McDowell, Duvall, McAndrew that will be hard to replace; can't say about ONW as I've seen no results or roster indications on them.

Don't forget Weimer(160) & Red(171?) from York. 160 looks pretty loaded.

Jordan Eggli will be at 152 for the rest of the season. Him and Novotny should be a good match.

At camp this summer Novotny and Eggli met up. If I remember right Novotny came out on top. It was a good match.

Is Novotny wrestling again? I heard he had a pretty serious bruise, possible crack,in his wrist or arm from his second match at the Valentine Invite.

I know he had to have more x-rays to determine the extent of injury but other than that no news.

They wrestled at Midwest Classic and Eggli won by 1. At the Kearney team camp Novotny won by 2 or 3.

Eggli lost 3 matches at 160 the 1st 2 weeks of the season then dropped to 152 and has only lost once and that was to Mixan by 8.

What is the seeding criteria at CC Invite?

Whoa, guys! both of those kids are good wrestlers. Everyone may have an up or down day. I feel they both have good talent and it will simply be one of the good matches at CC. It is obvious that they are very close in talent. They wrestled each other back in jr. high and I'm sure they wrestled close then. Give them both credit for being good wrestlers and stay away from the neg. Good Luck to both Novotny and Eggli. Smile
