Ravenna surprised the field in Burwell Friday night, congrats. Didn't get to see all of this meet, but saw some excellent matches, foremost was 130 finals. To anyone in Burwell, please post up complete results here and/or NWI.

Im not from Ravenna but If you have seen them this year that should not have been a shock. I still think they may be a year or two off though, the conf. tourny will be intresting points will be split up a lot,

They said the Poss kid beat Schalk pretty bad.

I expected Neligh/Oakdale to win this tourney, goes to show what I know. It would be good to see complete results just to figure it out. We'll get a taste of what it feels like from Ravenna on Thursday night. We're new to Lou Platte conference this year but will see nearly all conference teams somewhere prior to conference meet.

Drew Smith of Sargent defeated Nuttleman 12-2. Smith completely dominated the match. Smith tore apart Lehmkuhler of Arnold on Saturday with a 2nd period pin, he was up 7-0 at the time.

Why was Phillips of Burwell wrestling 135? He was at 130 for the first 1/2 of the season? Thought he would like to wrestle more competition---Lampkin!

The Score of The Gumb-Legate match was 7 to 5 in OT.Phillips didnt go 30 because he hadnt been feeling well all week and was having a hard time cutting weight, he isnt trying to avoid anyone.
