Can any of you sport nuts explain to me how this song chanting from the dugouts got started in girl's softball? I for one can't stand it. Is it coached by some of the coaches, or has it just been a girl thang? IMO it shouldn't be allowed, talk about unsportsmanlike actions!!
A little chatter is fine but some teams are way over the top!!

I asked my wife, who played forever, and I witnessed some as well going to her little sisters games. It is annoying. She HATES it.
She says if they want to chant, they should be cheerleaders and that should be outlawed too.

Some of the chants are actually funny...most are just downright annoying.
