I've had the unique pleasure of interviewing Ted on two occasions. The thing is, though, that you don't interview him in the usual manner (reporter asks question, subject answers question, reporter asks follow-up or next question, etc., etc.) -- you turn on your tape recorder and PRAY there's enough tape and battery to handle his automatic segueing from topic to topic.
The guy is a full-on hoot -- I saw him walk into a college radio station and take a freshman broadcast student COMPLETELY by surprise...this poor young lady didn't know whether to laugh, cry or run for her life.
