Didn't know whether to put this on the main page or not...

HuskersIllustrated.com is reporting that Scott Bayer of Howells has been offered "preferred walk-on" status to play football at the University of Nebraska. I've read about this before, but if I understand it right, he would go to UNL as a walk-on and as soon as a scholarship came available, he would be one of the first ones to be granted it. Congrats to Scotty and hope to see him as a Husker soon!

Side note to any Howells fans...I need to get a copy of the Eight Man All-State Game from last June. Could anyone tell me how I could get a copy of it???
