Gardner Edgerton High School in Gardner, KS is looking for 2-3 teams
for our varsity tournament on December 4th, 2004.
We are about 20 miles south of Kansas City on I-35. The tournament is a single-day tournament in a pool format that allows each wrestler five matches. This is the second year of the tournament and we started at 9:00 a.m. last year and ended around 4:00 p.m. We use 4 mats and the tournament moves very quickly. We had 8 teams last year and would like to make it a 10-team tournament this year. We would also like to see some Nebraska teams come to our tournament. The teams last year were Smth Cotton (Sedalia, Missouri), Garnett-Anderson County, Lawrence Free State, Olathe Northwest, Topeka-Washburn Rural, Topeka West, Wyondotte, and Gardner Edgerton.
