Needless to say, this match had it all...a lot of pivital pins...major decisions, a near tech fall...both coaches with strategic moves moving wrestlers up...so many points in the dual that 1 single point made the difference in the dual. Nothing better than it coming down to the home team needing a pin to secure the win and getting it. Hats off to both coaches, the wrestlers, and a great crowd on hand! This reminded me of the good old days between Chadron & Alliance, and Chadron & Gering in the 70's and 80's! To top it all off, not one single stalling warning, false start, techinal violation, or misconduct of any kind....about as close to a perfect dual as you can get! Congratulations to all! By the way, Kevin Nordhues(remember him?) was the official and did a terrific job! This was a classic rivalry with the utmost respect and sportsmanship exhibited! Two thumbs up....way up!
