Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska will be fielding a Women’s wrestling team for the 2011-2012 season. They plan to compete in the WCWA organization as well as the USAWrestling sanctioned events. Coach Vest will head up the women’s program as well as continuing with the men’s program. Courtney Martell, a Missouri Valley graduate, has signed on to help start the program. They are very excited to be starting a Women’s program in this part of the country and look forward to building a place for young women to get a quality education while working to achieve their goals in wrestling. There are a lot of good things going on at Midland right now. I think they are the biggest benificiary of UNO's bonehead moves. They should write Judas and Trev a personal thank you letter for sedning all of the metro football players and wrestlers there way. Also all of the metro soccer and basketball players that want to play college ball that are not DI material which is 99% of them.

I would look up Molly Glur from Southern Valley. I had the opportunity to coach her over the summer a couple years back. She is a solid wrestler...... Male or Female.

Maybe we may get our wish in High School to separate. Regardless definately a good step for Midland.
