Which team won this last year, and what teams are going this year. This is always a tough tournament.

I believe Skutt won it, but Aurora should make it tighter this year.

The Heavyweight bracket should be fun to watch. You have........

.Andy Christensen of Bennington, 4th-C HWT'02.
.Caleb Tyler of Elkhorn, 6th-A HWT'03, 1st@BT'03.
.Kendal Dorsey of Central, SQ-A HWT'03, 2nd@BT'03.
.Wayland Latham of Skutt, 6th-B HWT'03, I believe Latham placed at BT'03.

Should make for some great semi-finals matches.

If this is even close to being correct, then it looks like Skutt will win it again.

Does anyone have information on who is tough from Underwood? They could have some champs too, but I did not factor them in because I do not know who how their team lines up. Any input?

Have you even seen Lutmer wrestle since he has been in high school. How do you even know he will wrestle 215, he wrestled 171 last year.

I heard that he was going to be tough this year, and didn't see many returners at 215. I went off of an earlier post that listed the skutt line-up and put him in as my pick. If they were wrong about his weight then I am also wrong.

OK so now I would guess

160 - Farrell (Skutt)
171 - Close match I'm taking Wofford (Aurora)
189 - Still Huenfeld
215 - Still Lutmer (Skutt)

Good call on the 152 pound champion with Zach Olson from Tekamah. That kid is an amimal...but he is not wrestling this year. Sorry about that. Looks like you'll need to find someone else.

Zach has had a shoulder problem for the last couple of years. He actually dislocated it last year at the Boys Town tournamentand wrestled the rest of the year hurt. After the season last year, he had shoulder surgery. He played quarterback in football this year, and he got banged up pretty bad. He is looking forward to playing football in college next year, so he doesn't want to risk getting hurt again.

For my prediction at 152, after hearing the news about Olsen, I would venture to say that it is a toss up. My guess, depending on what weight they wrestle, is that it will be between Havekost of Bennington, Marti of Elkhorn, and Steele of Skutt. Any opinions?

Sorry, I just remembered about Jeremy McLaughlin of Valley. He is a very tough wreslter, but I can't remember if Valley goes to the Boys Town Invite or not. If I remember correctly, last year he seemed pretty strong, and at 140 could very possibly make the move up to 152. Maybe someone out there knows all the teams that plan to attend the tournament.

My money would be on steele if he can stay focused. He tends to start to lose it after being down a few points or gets a call he doesnt agree with.
