Kevin Kottich over at Bryan High school asked me to post this. Kevin is a very organized man who knows how to run a tournament. I'm not sure how to post a flier, so I'll try this first:

Omaha Bryan High/Middle School

Summer Wrestling League

2011

6:00 pm – 10:00 pm (or when done)

Dates: June 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd

Where: Bryan High School, 4700 Giles RD. Bellevue, Ne. 68157

Participants: High school wrestlers in grades 9-12, plus division for Middle School students in grades 7-8.

Format: Wrestlers will weigh in each Wednesday and be grouped into 4 person weight classes for 2-3 matches per night. A technique session will be presented prior to the start of matches.

Presenters: Cody Garcia, UNO Wrestler, and others.

Costs: $45.00 per participant. Participant will receive a T-shirt on the last day of the league.

Seems like a good alternative to UNO's summer league. Is anybody else out there planning on bringing their kids to this event?

Millard West is hosting a similar event on the 15th, 22nd, 29th, and 6th...More TEAM focused...mini teams of 5...multiple duals and individual matches if wanted.

Yes, but they start at 5:00. Harder to get there on time if you live out of the metro.

Amount of matches is dependent on numbers at both events.

This also has a middle school division.

Just spoke with Kevin Kottich and they are accepting walk-in, got some descent numbers.

Had over 60.. most got 3 matches.
