Jason Arlt has been announced as the new head wrestling coach for the Yutan Chieftains. Coach Arlt has a long resume of notable accomplishments, but is best known for his tenure as head wrestling coach at Gretna back in the day. He wrestled at Plainview while in high school and has ties to a few Arlts in several Northeastern Nebraska towns. Welcome him back into the fold! Congrats Jason!

The first three weeks of teaching at UM--Helena have been very good!

Great to see Jason back in the corner. He did a fantastic job leading Gretna to three consecutive Class B runner-up titles, and his 2001 team (if memory serves) was the closest to defeating Omaha Skutt during its long reign at the top of Class B.

If he does for Yutan what he did for Gretna, I think Yutan wrestling will be something to watch. Congrats and best of luck, Jason.
