This should be a good time for high school wrestlers to see some of Nebraskas finest in action at the next level. Also its Tervel Dlagnev's Birthday! Here are the teams who have committed as of Oct 31st: TEAMS: 1) US Air Force Academy 2) Oklahoma State University 3) University of Wyoming 4) University of Nebraska-Lincoln 5) University of Iowa 6) North Dakota State University 7) University of Northern Iowa 8) University of Central Oklahoma 9) Augustana College 10) Adams State College 11) Grand View University 12) Northwest Tech 13) Fort Hays State University 14) Chadron State College 15) University of Central Missouri 16) CSU-Pueblo 17) Newman University 18) Hastings College 29) Labette Community College 20) Colby Community College 21) New Mexico Highlands 22) York College 23) Concordia College 24) Baker University 25) Pratt Community College 26) Bethany College 27) Missouri Baptist University 28) University of Nebraska-Kearney |

The schools below usually brought their full line ups to the UNO Open. UNL, Iowa and Okie State are hit and miss. Sometimes they show up with everyone sometimes they do not. They will usually have a few staters though. 1) US Air Force Academy 3) University of Wyoming 5) University of Iowa 6) North Dakota State University 7) University of Northern Iowa |

Novice Registered: September 01, 2005 Posts: 268 | Does anyone know about how many teams showed up at UNO on a yearly basis? How many teams normally showed up at UNK open on a yearly basis? What other tournaments are going on that weekend, picking up teams that otherwise went to UNO? Is UNK considering splitting into an open and 20 and under divisions, like UNO's tournament? |
Junior High Location: Omaha, NE Registered: December 17, 2002 Posts: 541 | This is what I remember from last year. They had 750 wrestlers last year. I would say most of these teams came on a yearly basis. UNK will still have their Loper Open on December 12th. The probably got about 15 teams show up at that one. I am not sure if they are splitting it up. If they have 28 teams I would imagine that they would. I I have listed other tournaments below.
