From what I hear, and I should hear; my wife works at Skutt the exact opposite is true.

Skutt also has some international stud from Russia, an Olympian from Korea, and found a loophole that gave Cael Sanderson an extra year of high school eligibility. I hope they all fit in the line up.

I also heard Skutt was coercing Chuck Liddell out of retirement to shore up their middle weights and getting Charlie Sheen out of rehab to serve as the team's entertainment coordinator. There's also talk that Brad Hildebrandt is being let go and will be replaced by Sarah Palin.

Oh...and the school is changing its colors to sky blue and orchid with lime green pinstripes.

I've got this information from some very in-the-know sources within the janitorial closet at Skutt High School, so you know it's true.

That was a good one, I completely missed it! Enrollment is based on grades 9-12? 8-11?

Enrollment for wrestling is based on grades 9-11 as released by the schools to the NE ED Dept. on I believe the last Friday before October of the previous year. In other words, the classifications for 2011-2012 will be based on the fall number of 2010.

There was some talk around Christmas that Columbus Scotus was going to add wrestling, haven't heard anything lately. I don't know if a private school would have to vote on it or just say yeah/nay. Bishop Neuman just started a few years ago correct? maybe it's a trend!

Scotus has been co-op with public for awhile. Maybe they have decided to go on their own b/c of some wrestlers coming up through the ranks. I know they have one boy that is coming who is pretty salty.

They had a ton of kids on their school JH wrestling squad. Had heard mentioned that they would be starting a HS varsity squad this next season.

Never Resting mentioned a smaller class C school possibly dropping their program. I'm curious as to who this pertains, although I realize that maybe it hasn't come out publicly yet. This will probably be officially decided at the next board meeting or two, as budgets and rifs have to be discussed heavily at all school districts. Which ever school it is, I wish you luck in saving your program!

It has been reported that Ponca has voted to cut their wrestling program......

For those of you like soldier boy who is trying to formulate the districts for next year!

Sadly, I don't think it will be the last change before next season however........
