Big BurrussThe website huskerlocker.com reports that his mother died Friday.
If so, that really sucks.

Radio ManI think I heard that his mother passed away?....at least a female member of the family for sure...too bad any way you look at it.

Big BurrussAlso, Nebraska looked pretty crappy today.
Even Burroughs looked a little subdued (if that's possible for him)
VJ got super lucky, the ISU guy tried to do something that stopped working for most people in Jr. High

NWII was at the dual this afternoon, and they had a moment of silence for Brandon's mother, who passed away Friday.
Unfortunately, some of the Huskers wrestled as if a family member had passed away. It was tough enough having to wrestle from behind like they had to.
Hopefully this is the spark that lights the fire to a good finish for the Huskers. They are capable of great things, have home-mat advantage for the Big 12's and could do very well at nationals.

scramblerIt was a tough day for Nebraska wrestling ISU is very good and really looks like they are peaking. I disagree I thought Burroughs and Jones both looked very good in their matches. Jones is a pinner and took advantage of a small mistake while Burroughs dominated a tough Sanderson at 157. Dyer lost by making a mental mistake in the last 20 seconds of his match.
