Actually this would suck. I was really hoping that he would stick around long enough to see the school fall to pieces because of him. I think he should have to stay at least long enough to get tarred and feathered.

No, both the Wikipedia note about his resigning and the one denying it appeared after this rumor started circulating.

The source is said to be a reliable person in Omaha. Of course, that could be wrong too.

I can only hope that Trev has accepted his new dream job, sold his house, bought a new one and moved his wife and kids. Then 2-3 weeks later is told that his position has been eliminated. I would feel bad for the kids.

I've talked with a couple of reputable sources in Omaha, and both are saying there is no truth to the rumor of Alberts' much-overdue dismissal as UNO's AD.

I heard Trev on Unsportsmanlike Conduct today and am still waiting for some reporter to ask, "You have told us it would take $7 million to endow wrestling and $28 million to endow football. When are you going to tell us what it cost to endow basketball, hockey, soccer, and golf, and where did those endowments come from"?
