Copy the above address and paste it in your address bar to watch Rick Monday keep a couple of yahoos from burning the Flag during a baseball game in 1976.

Good stuff Maynard.

What Rick Monday SHOULD have done is grabbed the lighter fluid, DOUSED the two yahoos and taken a match to their un-American hineys.

That was probably the greatest moment in Chicago Cubs history during the 70's...certainly one of the best in recent baseball history.

they best plays are when the hitter tries to rush 50+ yr old Nolan Ryan and he then precedes to beat the living crap out of the 24yr old rookie and the 30 yr old vets.

Nolan Ryan Rules!

That was Robin Ventura of the Chisox -- wasn't a rookie, but made a rookie mistake going after a tough Texan like the Ryan Express.

Watching Ryan headlock Ventura and beat the crap out of him, to this day, is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen on Sportscenter. That was even funnier than Carl Lewis butchering the National Anthem...
