I for one am a firm believer that this is the best thing that could have happened to him... (1) It takes the monkey off his back about all of the speculation of him going 4 years unbeaten. (2) I couldn't have happened at a better time... Mid season where he still has an opportunity to be a 4X state champ. Go get 'em Matt! |
Junior High Registered: October 06, 2003 Posts: 510 | I tend to agree with you. I think the emphasis on being undefeated is way overblown. I suppose a lot depends on how important Matt himself thought the streak was. From what I have heard, I think he handled it fine and I expect him to come on as strong as ever. Good luck Matt! |
Rookie Registered: December 06, 2005 Posts: 94 | I'm not sure if he has beaten anyone exceptional yet but Tyler Doran of Malcolm is still undefeated at 160 lbs. I would keep an eye on him, he needs to refine his technique a bit, but I'm not lying when I say that this kid is 100% muscle and he can probably hang with the best of 'em |
