Junior High Location: Upright at this time... Registered: September 16, 2004 Posts: 543 | My opinion... The TOUGHEST: - 130 - 135 - 140 NOT THE TOUGHEST: - 112 - 171 - 285 So, where's it at this season??? Let's get the action started in this forum! |
Rookie Registered: February 12, 2006 Posts: 119 | 103-Should be Zach Cottle's for the taking 112-Interesting weight.. I'd say Lovesee or a freshman will take it 119-should be tough with Carter and Katusin(granted they both go those weights)... 125-Sackett is clear cut above everyone 130-Difficult weight... Kottas has the edge in my book.. but interesting none the less 135- Q Cottle should have this on lock down...unless he goes 40 140-Interesting if Cottle wrestles here, probably against Nate High for the favorite 145-I'm not sure who is wrestling here... Vogel..maybe? 152-I'm pretty sure Vogel will wrestle here, but the talent isn't very deep... kind of a mudded middle 160-Another one where I'm not sure who wrestles here... Bribeseca... Cardenas.. the kind for Valentine.. 171-No depth really at all here.. 189-Again kind of a mudded middle weight class.. looking for someone to establish themselves as dominant 215-Matt Muschall from Skutt looks like he made strides last year and he should be good this year.. HWT-Wow.. no idea... Cooksley maybe? |
Rookie Registered: October 28, 2005 Posts: 123 | I think Cooksley and Franklin will both be 215 and will probably be the guys to beat. |
State Champion Registered: December 11, 2002 Posts: 1493 | I don't know valentine's exact lineup, they are still playing one heck of a football season from what i've seen in the paper, which also makes this 7% body fat ridiculous because even though u can cheat the system, like many colleges do, the college athletes can start cutting from day 1 before the hydration testing takes place unlike many B,C,D competitors who play numerous sports but that is another topic, what about these guys Osnes, Risseeuw, Nelson, ormasher, hanson, leonard, Belville, Spain all from valentine not saying all will win it but all should place w a couple coming through to at least the finals Peace Deano |
Rookie Registered: December 06, 2005 Posts: 148 | Isn't Trenton Washington and his brother going to be at Boystown? You have to factor both of them in if they are! |
Rookie Registered: September 19, 2006 Posts: 31 | what about brock smith??? |
Varsity Letterman Registered: November 17, 2003 Posts: 850 | Belville at 189 , Franklin at 215 , Mohr at 145 ,Smith will try to place at 160 The state of Nebraska is won on your feet . James Berger |
World Champion Registered: August 27, 2002 Posts: 6425 | Everyone knows about Trenton Washington but I'm telling you his younger brother is a machine. I saw him just take that senior Iowa state placer apart at the Council Bluffs tournament. The rest of Class B will find out real quick about his talent level. |
Rookie Registered: December 06, 2005 Posts: 148 | HB, What weight do you the think the Washington brothers will wrestle at? It would be fun to see Tony W & Sackett go at it all year! |
World Champion Registered: August 27, 2002 Posts: 6425 | Tony will go 125 or 130. Trenton will go 140. |
Rookie Registered: August 31, 2005 Posts: 45 | How about Andy Totusek for omaha gross at heavyweight. took 3rd last year and will be a senior this year |
Rookie Registered: October 28, 2005 Posts: 123 | Can't wait to see a cooksley-franklin rematch, probably in the championship...Cooksley has gotten so much stronger in a year, I think this year will be his. |
Rookie Registered: January 28, 2005 Posts: 30 | 140- 152 are always tough |
Novice Registered: February 11, 2006 Posts: 231 | The heavyweight class will be a definite reshaping year with everyone graduating. Totusek will be the one to beat. Who else at heavyweight that'll be worth watching? |
Rookie Registered: October 28, 2005 Posts: 123 |
Good question, I was wondering the same...looks like Totusek has a good shot, but can he win the "big one?" |
Novice Registered: February 10, 2003 Posts: 326 | Neil Bowman from Wahoo should be a "heavy" to keep an eye on. "No Lincoln, No attendence. The Great Qwest Boycott continues." |
Rookie Registered: September 27, 2005 Posts: 155 | Bowman is a def. contender for 285 this year, pry be between him and totusek |
Rookie Registered: December 21, 2005 Posts: 153 | If I am not mistaken Mr Totusek beat Bowman at districts last year. Totusek was B-2 District Champ and Bowman was third in the same district. Totusek finished third at state and Bowman did not place. |
Moderator Location: Omaha,NE,USA Registered: October 19, 2002 Posts: 1116 | he said Bowman was a contender....not a sure deal. also there is only 4 returners at B-HWT.....besides Totusek, Bowman is the only one with a win at state, if im not mistaken Gilkerson and Jackson both went 0-2 "It's in the bag coach, it's in the bag." |
Rookie Registered: September 25, 2005 Posts: 61 | Totusek is going to dominate heavey weight. and Skylar Galloway is going to turn some heads for sure most likely at 112. |
