Mike McCarville, Roncolli (29-11-12) >> I don't think Nate Novotny from Gross will be at 103 this year; I believe he will be at 112. I believe the 103 pound spot for Gross is between Jamie Trout and Dan Pedersen. I didn't think it was known that Clayden McKim was going to be the 103 pounter for Skutt. I thought there was another wrestler (Stephenson?) that he had to wrestle-off against. |
<Guest> | Dan Peterson will win this District and State . |
<Guest> | Quinlan didn't even come out and Deao was a senior last year. |
<Guest> | I don't think mckim is at the legal minimum to even wrestle in high school. the kid weighs like 75 pounds! Also, Juricek and deao graduated. quinlon isn't out for wrestling. |

<Guest> | Why the open at 119 ? |
<Guest> | It won't be open. Just haven't had wrestle offs yet to see who will win the spot. |

Have a good backup there in Matt Hamtak and also a kid, Josh Larsen, who is a little banged up right now. 275- Shawn Avery (state qualifier) And I will agree with you, Viking...B-2 is going to be a total BEE-YOTCH of a district. You've got Skutt, Gross, Gretna, Platteview, Elkhorn and a little secret known as Boys Town all in that district, along with some fine individual talent outside those mentioned schools. This is going to be as tough as a district has EVER been, regardless of class, and anybody who gets more than 6-7 in should not complain one iota about it. Some great kids are going to be left home...but those that do survive here, history tells us, will do very well the following week at state. Last year, this district had #1, #4 and #5 at the end. The potential is there that this district could go 1-2-3-4-5 (Skutt, Gretna, Platteview, Elkhorn, Gross would be my semi-educated guess 3 1/2 months before it really matters)...although there are some teams in the other three districts (Plattsmouth, Aurora and others) that might have something to say about that. |
<LDW> | What is schylur's line-up going to look like this year? Are there any Mundil's left there? ___________________________________________________ "Are you hurt, or are you injured?" - The Program |

Three of those four will battle at EMC and in duals, and Schuett is one tough hombre. By February, if that's your final four that should be a dandy. |
