Mitch Nuss from Sutton placed 6th---was leading his 1st round match with about 30 seconds left when he was thrown--battled back hard.

Jorge Dunklau of Wayne lost in the first round and came back to get 4th at heavyweight. Avenged his opening round loss and lost to kid who pinned him in the district finals for 3rd.

David Diaz I believe, and he had an outstanding tourney. If I remember correctly, he went into districts as the 5 seed. He was also beating Stansberry by 4 in the conso semis before running out of steam and getting cradled up.

It is tough to win lose first round and still come back to place. Actually, they only need to win 3 in a row to get a medal. But 5 in a row is definately tough, by the posts above, only a couple actually accomplished that!

Congrats to all those who hit adversity first round then battled back to get a medal. Shows a lot of guts!
