<Guest> | Can anyone add some detail to these results? Where was Butrick (FC) and Smith (PLA)? |
<Bobcat> | I know smith is out for a while |

Rookie Location: Hebron, NE Registered: December 18, 2002 Posts: 106 | Travis Liechti of Omaha Burke was upset pinned in the first round when Justin Stelling of Fairbury threw him in a headlock, but he wrestled back and avenged his loss in the consolation finals. |

Rookie Location: Southeast, NE Registered: December 17, 2003 Posts: 191 | 103- Laughlin looks very tough and really dominated one of the best 103s in class B. 112- Negley could not make it to 103 so he will be at 112 the rest of the year. He dominated this match, especially on top. 119- Valdez came from the 3 seed to win the tourny. he pretty much slapped both Mccarville of Roncalli and Miller of Falls City around. Surprisingly touch weight class Mccarville didn't even place. 125- Parrish was up 3-0 Bashus shot and Parrish went for a front headlock cradle, he got to high and got stuck. He was really dominating the whole match until that point. Parrish won a very exciting OT match over Butrick of Falls City in the semis. 130- Harpham was not evenpushed in this tourny and pinned hisway through it. 135 and 140 were very exciting finals both coming down to the last couple of seconds. 145- With Lietchi getting caught in the first round this bracket was wide open. Kaster looked better than I have seen him before. I wish he could have wrestled Lietchi. 152- Very exciting match. Negley scored a takedown with about 4 seconds left in the match to win it. 160- Browne was just being Browne as he dominated. 171- Debuhr was almost upset by Williams of Plattsmouth in the semis (4-3). Then in the finals Pursel scored a takedown with about 20 seconds left. It was tied at 2-2 and Debuhr took every shot in the match, but could not finish on Pursel(who was a state champ from Kansas). 189- Craig scored a takedown on the edge with abou 15 seconds left to win it. 215-275- both very weak weights and the Plattmouth boys dominated them. Only three wrestlers at 215, one with a winning record. |
