World Champion Location: Wayne, America Registered: October 20, 2002 Posts: 5714 | Chris Trampe of Ord was a four-time runner-up, the only one in state history. Kind of hard to top that. His brother, Craig, I believe was a three-time finalist and two-time champion. "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |

Rookie Registered: November 09, 2008 Posts: 143 | Jared Beam from Sutherland was extremely good, he was a 4x state placer i believe, was very close to becoming the winningest class D wrestler, and i believe his last two years he wrestled the eventual state champion in the semis...very good but not the best |
Rookie Registered: May 05, 2008 Posts: 99 | Justin Portenier never was a finalist at Gering from 1996-1999 but was a 4 x state medalist. He won an NAIA National Championship and was a 3 x AA at Dakota Wesleyan University. |

Rookie Registered: November 10, 2009 Posts: 35 | TJ Brummels from Norfolk comes to my mind. I believe but I may be wrong he placed at state 4 times and finished runner-up twice. I got to coach his little brother Bo in Winside he was a 3 time state champ. |

Rookie Registered: May 22, 2007 Posts: 134 | My vote would be for Chris Trampe. Had it not been for Nate Hays (Elm Creek) upsetting both Perry Rucker and Brett Hunter as a senior for his first state title...I would lump him in there. He was a 3 time runner up till he beat those guys. |
