World Champion Registered: August 27, 2002 Posts: 6425 | I have been kind of laying low the past month or two since senior nationals got over. I am enjoying the down time and just being able to relax and enjoy life a little. I have learned one thing over the past several years its that those times are few and far between. As soon as the state tournament ended, I decided it was time to workout again. I have always been able to eat what I wanted and stay relatively in shape but the pounds were adding up and staying on. So the Monday after the state tournament I started a workout program-excercise 4-5 times a week, weight training and cut down on the carbs. So far I'm down 30 lbs and as light as I've been since I graduated college almost 9 years ago. Trust me, its worth all the work. So anyways I just figured I'd share with everyone and let everyone know I'm still here-just thinner! |

I plan on doing the same thing(only I need to lose twice as much as you), but I'm waiting until I make the move to O'neill ahead of my family. It's nearly impossible to eat right and work out with my wife doing in-home daycare. She always has processed food and sugary stuff around for the kids. Time just isn't there either, so that's why my change begins with the move. Keep it up! |

Great job, man -- I need to drop about 20-30 myself, and am going to start once my future here is determined (hopefully in next few days). My biggest problem is with my back - the extra weight I carry is all in the gut and I've spent as much time at the chiropractor as anywhere else lately. My daughter said it's time to give birth -- I've been carrying the twins around long enough. Keep up the good work... "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |

My football coach asked how much I gained since wrestling was over, and when I told him he said: "Lets just hope you got quicker like you did this last semester". Pertaining to the fact I trimmed .12 off of my 40 yard dash. I'd like to lose 20 pounds or so if possible. |
