Mason,

I don't usually respond to your imaginative machinations, but I will on this one, just for the shear comedy........You will NEVER see me strappin up shoes and taking on Nebe. Back in the day, I had to create my own bracket to get away from the guy! I still have nagging injuries from midnight wrestling.....

I am not actuary, but I will calculate the chances of you seeing me in an actual match against RJ:

Mason, you have more chance of standing on the very tip top of Mt.Everest singing jingle bells in swahili in the next 3.5 seconds.

Compute that, baby!!!!!!!

However, would like to see you and Mr. Wahl strap it up......LOL.

My take on a few of them:

Manning v. Neumann....Manning, have you seen Nuemanns knees?

Fergola v. Bauer....Bauer, Fergola gets ahead early but gets pinned in a twister.

Smith v Brands....Smith/Freestyle Brands/folk

Douglas v Denney....I assume that means Bobby Douglas....Douglas/wrestling Denney/submission

Denson v Nebe...since the old BT wrestling room is gone, one can only dream about the legendary sessions.

OK Whitey, I got one for you:

Big Whitey v. Torpy's Dad.

I am issuing a challenge to Twurdinger's wet paper bag. No spectators, I don't want to be embarrassed.

I used to coach Twdinger AND his wet paper bag. The bag often showed up on Mondays after tournaments at least ten over.

You have to ask Tim about getting his cheesecake stolen by that big thug Kyle Vanden Bosch...

On that same pattern of thinking (Tim's story) someone needs to start a thread about any interesting rituals or stories that wrestlers or coaches have about getting ready for their State Finals matches.

Gable.

One evening while we were at a technique session at wrestling camp in Iowa City, Gable and if I remember right, Randy Lewis, Jim Zalesky, Lennie Zalesky and Scott Trizzino were at the opposite end of the fieldhouse working out. Well, it was a workout for Gable. He stayed on the mat and the other 4 rotated in on him. And he kicked them all over the mat. Needless to say, most of us were watching that spectacle rather than what the Clinicians were trying to show us.
