Rookie Location: Atkinson,NE Registered: January 08, 2003 Posts: 44 | After reading these posts day after day I have finally decided to post some opinion on the matter. My name is Patrick Lamkin and I am a wrestler of Nebraska, I wrestled highschool in Nebraska and will wrestle college in Nebraska in the winter. I have not seen very many, if any posts by a current wrestler. I must say, myself and some of my wrestling buddies I have talked to; that this matter of events are embarrassing to all wrestlers past or present. What happened has happened though, it does not matter how much bickering and argueing is occuring, it will not change a thing. The sentence to these two young men have been delt and it is over with. There is no need to question the university or what their purposes are for their reasoning, what is done is done. I have not posted on this site for a long period of time, but for the greater cause of Nebraska wrestling I believe we should just leave this matter be. I understand people have different opinions on the subject, but by the previous posts it looks as if this is starting to cause a problem between eachother, a wrestling family that is here because we care about the sport and the purity of the sport. p.s. The so called pastor Fred Phelps is more than welcome to show up on the mat in front of me, to explain his reasoning of what he thinks of Nebraska people and also his sites view of "Thank God for dead soldiers" -Lamkin |

Every chance he gets, he glories when horrific things happens. 911 "America Deserved It" -- according to him. Even the boy scouts dying from the Tornado. Somehow God send the tornado to kill them, according to Phelps. And he is thrilled when soldiers die from IEDs. Every bad thing that happens supposedly shows how right he is. Apparently someone set his church on fire about a week ago (in Topeka, KS). I don't think he declared that he deserved that. Only when bad things happen to someone else ... is it good. Anyway, he's a real piece of work. Probably insane, look at his eyes in any of those videos. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Red Rocker, |

There is usually about one mention of wrestling per month in the magazine and sadly this is in bigger font and seems to overshadow the accomplishments of the olympic wrestlers in this issue. |
