Why would they hold this event the same weekend as Northern Plains Regionals?

The participants at this event are not eligible to wrestle at the Northern Plains Regionals so there is no conflict with participation. I do understand someone may want to attend both events and will have to choose. However, the week earlier is the World Team trials and we are just as likely to run into the same situation.

This weekend was chosen because it gives families coming from out of town an opportunity to have more activities to do and make the weekend out of it. For the majority of the people this weekend would be much better.

The East team is being finalized. We are waiting on a couple of confirmations.

All that are in the know, and you know who you are, make some predictions. Good matches, winners, must see wrestlers, who can eat the most funnel cakes, etc.
