If your team finishes 8th in the national tournament you will get 8 points, etc. Add the total of all of your teams. Low score wins. In order to compete for bragging rights you must post your picks before National Duals the first week in January. You can still enter after the National Duals, but only for whimpering rights. Top prize is a day in Funk with Red Rocker as your tour guide. Second prize is 2 days in Funk with RR as your tour guide. My picks: DI Iowa DII UNO DIII Wartburg NAIA Southern Oregon Jr College Iowa Central (Ft Dodge) Get ready RR. I want to see if watching the sausage grinder down at Milt's Food Mart is as exciting as you say it is. |

The lagoon itself has many days of discovery (not bad pheasant hunting too). Don't knock it 'til you try it!!! Mike, I've got your back to defend Funk U. and all it has to offer. Coach Meyer |

Oh, and since you hadn't heard Funk University burnt down. They built a new one, Funk University Two...... |

You may have outsmarted yourself if you tried to stay out of the running by picking UNI. Nobody thought we had a chance when we won it back in 1950 and those things tend to run in 58 year cycles. |

I'm certinly not knocking Funk. I will probably throw in another entry before the national duals so I can win both first and second and get THREE days exploring the beautiful Mike Fleshman Lagoon. I wasn't able to get there for the dedication and renaming of the lagoon so will be anxious to see the changes. |

It hasn't changed a lot since these fellas were there... |
