Does anyone know why the Mavs have not been on TV this season? It seems last year Cox 16/17? carried a lot of their duels, I looked at the program guide and they have on some stupid stuff, hard to beleive the Mav's wouldn't get better ratings.

Thats a good question. Each night DI has been on the BigTen Channel. You would think that with the top DII school in the nation, we could have some coverage.

UNO wrestling will not be on tv this year. Mr. Alberts has said that it costs too much money. The webcast for now is still a go. you can watch the dual live @ omavs.com tonight at 7

Alberts does appear to be a polarizing figure when it comes to wrestling....

He has the pipe dream (along with others) of taking UNO DI. That will never happen. The Board of Regents is never going to let there be two DI football teams in NE. They are not going to let anything adversly effect the Huskers. Football is king and that is why UNO will never be DI. They need to focus more on making it the best DII Program possible. They need to also stop charging me $5 to park at events. People do not want to pay to park to watch a DII event.

If you don't mind walking some Blashko you could always park at Elmwood park. Granted, I have no idea how quickly it fills up.
