Skutt loses 38-24 and that was to get in to the top 8

So, no matter what Skutt did at the tournament ... they could have gone 6-0 ... and the very best they could have gotten in the tournament is 5th? (that is, the best they could hope for would be to get into the 5th:8th bracket the second day)

So ... the tournament seeding sets up a 'glass ceiling' if you will; about how high you can place?

No, if they would have won they would have been in the finals of the pool which means top 8. There are four brackets and after the first day the winners of each wrestle for 1-4. Second place teams go for 5-8, 3rd go for 9-12 and so on.

Wow, looks like Valentine got off to a rough start this morning. Ponca City beat them 62-18. Did anybody see or hear what happened?

Mr. O from what I have heard he was talking to his coaches still shouldn't have said it but kids cuss on the mat all the time, it just happens just another example of a ref trying to take the spotlight away from two very good wrestlers. The Oklahoma team was just in another league from Valentine, and they just got spanked again have a Wisconsin team that is 0-2 on the day next.

Crouch loses to Orel of Winner Orel is the real deal very tough hard nosed competitor, and Henry beats Ulmer of Winner which I consider a huge upset, Ulmer is an undersized heavy but he is the best heavy I have seen in high school since Tolsted. Either Henry is legit or its a fluke maybe HB can let me know.

Henry is 5-0 so far at the Clash and just beat Bergland. I would say he's legit.

Kenny Micel is 5-0 with 5 pins. The last one was in olny :12 seconds.

Freshman David Laughlan is 5-0 with 3 pins and a major so far.

Burke has some studs but I think two guys that get overlooked sometimes are Chris Mack and Jake Tolliver. I have followed these guys for a couple of years and they just keep getting better and better. I'm pretty sure Mack is a junior and Tolliver a senior.
