I would also like to say that I was very impressed with the referees again this year. This is the fourth or fifth year that we have traveled to Mullen and I would have to say that the refs there have the most continuity between each other of any tournament that we go to. The style might be a little different than we are use to but they do a great job and I know what to expect. You don't get one call on one mat and a different call on another mat. They are refs that you don't know if they are there. Sometimes I think a ref wants to be the center of attention and control the match but, I feel these guys react to the situation instead of controling the match.

No, he pulled a nerve in his shoulder. His hand goes numb and he lack strength in that hand. It happened at conference but he wanted to try and wrestle at Mullen. I would say he was operating at about 80%. He will be fine. He needs to take some time off and get ready for districts.

Did Dennis and Jacobi from Osmond wrestle?

Dennis did not wrestle. Was told he banged up a knee. Never heard how long he'll be out.

Me and Cody didnt wrestle saturday at neligh, i was out sick and he hurt his knee and is saving it for districts

Who is this Jeremy Broz guy? I have seen his name now in several posts, but have yet to see him officiate a match. How good is he? We are thinking about asking him to work our tournament next year and would like some input from anyone who has worked with him or has had him as an official before. Thanks.

What other tournaments do you see him at? I would like to try and get out to see him, if we are in the area. I am leery of bringing in someone new that I haven't seen, but it sounds like he does a good job.

Our team wrestles out east. He was at the NCC conference, Elkhorn Inv, Syracuse INV, he does many HS and college matches.
