O.k... you weigh in and have your body fat measured. You don't like what it says.

So, can you:

  • go somewhere else and have your body fat tested
  • try a different method - scales instead of calipers, etc.
  • have a different person take the measurements
  • not accept this measurement and try again another day

Where's the control on this? Or is there any control.

im not sure completely, all i do know is that there is some sort of appeal that has to take place i believe in 48 hours. What i wanna know is when can u decide u aren't gonna test. i mean if u pass the urine test, does that mean that you're in for sure or can u quit before or after your body fat testing?

You have one appeal.

You must submit your appeal to the NSAA (forms on the wrestling page) within I believe it's 48 hours. Once it is accepted, you can be re-tested, but you MUST accept the results of the 2nd test even if it comes out higher than the first one.

You can file one appeal within 72 hrs. Although, due to a glich in the descent program, any body fat tests done before this morning at 8 a.m., there time now begins in less than 10 minutes. In essence, you have 72 hrs from now to file an appeal.

I believe there is a penalty for wrestling below the weight that your plan allows you to.
I also think it is leveled on the head coach, not the wrestler.
I don't think you can coach at Districts if you allow this to happen.
Am I remembering this right, coaches?
